Fan Day 2012

The Florida State University baseball team’s 2012 season started on January 27th with their first official practice. The baseball team is getting a lot of hype going into this season already and the first game is still a little over 2 weeks away. The fans are eager to get this season started, but there is still some waiting to do. Luckily FSU baseball’s official Fan Day is this weekend, February 12th.

Fan Day, presented by Whataburger, will start at 11:45am and the best part is admission is free. The day is filled with non-stop activities for all the fans, even the kids.

Usually the day starts off with Picnic In the Park, where fans are offered some delicious lunch. After everyone is nice and full, that is where all the fun will begin. The whole FSU baseball team will come out and autograph the 2012 baseball poster, the season schedule magnet, and anything else you’ve ever dreamed about having signed.

While the autographing is going on you can keep your kids busy with some activities like catch in the outfield, running around the bases, and even having their pitches clocked.

When the fan’s are done getting everything signed, they are treated to an FSU baseball full scrimmage. It’s a day full of activities and fun but if your a serious FSU baseball fan it’s a great opportunity to see what you are working with this year. So make sure this Sunday you head out to support your favorite players on your favorite team, the FSU Seminoles. Go Noles!
