SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
Take a study break for a day or two to enjoy this last weekend before graduation.
Thursday: Check out a free show at the Dover Brick House by B.A. Canning starting at 8pm!
Then beat the clock up at The Stone Church. There is no cover, there will be a dance party, and if you have anything that says UNH on it your first drink is only 25 cents. In the words of Drake, "hell yeah - fuckin right."
Friday: At the Waysmeet Center on Mill Road, there will be a community dinner and coffee house. It starts at 5pm! Email Stacey at stg9@wildcats.unh.edu for more information.
In Portsmouth, The Music Hall will be showing The Kid With The Bike at 7pm. Winner of the Grand Jury prize at Cannes Film Festival, it is kind of a big deal. I would say it's worth the $6.50 for a ticket.
Saturday: Today is the day to sell your books back at the MUB Bookstore. Generally, you don't get a lot back, or anything at all, but beer money is beer money.
The Clash of the Arts is going to be a bumpin' talent show in support of two UNH football players who got into a bad car accident last summer. It's held in The Johnson Theatre at 7pm and all proceeds go to help them out with hospital bills. Check out there story and get more details here.
Sunday: Open mic at The Stone Church with Red Sky Mary. If you haven't seen them yet, you must. They're graduating so this will be one of the last times you can!
And make sure you call your mom because it's Mother's Day.
But sadly the weekend will be over and time to study has begun again. Good luck with your exams folks!
