SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
Everyone in college knows what May brings; the end of school and the beginning of sweet, sweet summer. J. Cole and Big K.R.I.T. brought some of that sweetness to the Whittemore Center this past Thursday, and needless to say, they brought the house down.

Big K.R.I.T. was up first, and he opened his set by jumping up on a speaker and bringing some dirty South to New Hampshire with "R4 Theme Song" and "Just Touched Down". The crowd was nuts. I'm talking girls-up-on-shoulders nuts. Next he played some newer songs, "4eva N a Day" and "1986".

After a few more songs, including "Rotation", "Boobie Miles" and "Country Shit", he descended from the stage and plunged into the crowd, giving fans a souvenir a little more personal than the t-shirts that were being tossed around by his entourage. After his set many more fans started to arrive in anticipation of J. Cole, including this guy:

In case you can't tell, that's a guy in a penguin suit. Only at UNH, right? Finally, J. Cole himself showed up and opened with "Dollar and a Dream" and "Cole Life".

If the crowd responded well for Big K.R.I.T., they went out of their minds for J. Cole, especially when he lost the jacket. Next came "Blow Up," "Lights Please," "Grew Up Fast," and of course, "Work Out." Overall, a great show from two distinct but fantastic rappers to finish up the school year.
