Things took a turn for the worse on the night of Cinco de Mayo when, at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning, a sexual assault was reported by a female student in Stoke.  According to the police report, the victim and the suspect (described as "a dark-skinned man with dark hair") did not know each other.  If you know anything about the incident, please call 603-862-1427.

There's a strong police presence on campus, but crimes like these remind us that we can never be too careful, especially when we're alone.  Be cautious when you go out, make good decisions, and try to stay with friends whenever you can.  UNH is known as a fairly safe place to go to school; let's keep it that way.
