The UNH English Department held their annual Student Award Ceremony on Thursday.
Remember when we'd all get gold star stickers for being the best in the class? Now that we're older, the only difference is, the prize is money. Not a bad deal.
Scholarships were given to those who plan to continue their education and for those who performed exceptionally in upper-level English courses. Other prizes were awarded to students in poetry, fiction, creative writing, and journalism.

At the beginning of each spring semester, students are nominated by professors. To find out how to get involved and check out the descriptions of the awards, you can look on the Journalism web page and the English deptartment page.
Thirty seven students from the English department were given recognition; eight of them being focused in journalism. Congrats to all the students won!
