Have you ever wanted to be part of a flash mob?

Of course you have. Who hasn’t? Maybe that quiet kid who sits behind you in your Stats class, but he probably wants to do it, too.
Embrace your inner conformist in a uniquely creative way by participating in what is likely the first ever Vintage Flash Mob. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is happening at 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 7th, somewhere in downtown Portsmouth. The exact location will be announced two hours beforehand, on the Facebook Event Page (here). You can also call either of the two clothing shops that are sponsoring the event: Concetta’s Closet in Newmarket, NH and Re-Inhabit in Portsmouth, NH.
Both shops sell vintage clothing items, including pieces in the styles of the 1940s and 1950s. The styles from these periods of time will be the theme of the Vintage Flash Mob. Participants are encouraged to dress as authentically as possible, and will receive a nice discount at either shop on any pieces necessary to complete an outfit. Just make sure you say the two magic words: “Flash Mob.”
While you strut around downtown Portsmouth looking as fabulous as the 40s and 50s, you can drink delicious cocktails and listen to some great music from that time period.
Don’t forget to check the event page on Facebook for the final location announcement on Saturday night around 6:00 pm. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to flash for your first time.
