Now that the big day has come and gone, you're probably feeling one of two ways. Either you've received the necessary gifts from your significant other to justify remaining in a relationship with him or her, or you're recovering from a wine- and chocolate-induced coma and trying to drag your ass to the gym. I know which one I am.

While Valentine's Day can be a super cute holiday when you have someone great to spend it with, it can also be slightly depressing when you're flying solo. Thank god it's only one day a year. But if you're looking to spice things up next V-Day, I think the MUB can help. Be warned, however, this is not for the faint-hearted.

Tomorrow, Friday 17th from 6-9p.m. in the Granite State Room, Fairchild Hall (the international dorm) will be sponsoring speed-dating. Yes, I said speed-dating. And while you're probably thinking that I'm totally lame for even suggesting the possibility, hear me out. Grab a bunch of friends and head in with the right mentality because you never know who you're going to meet. Don't, however, walk in and expect to receive a marriage proposal after the first person you meet. Be realistic. But if you approach the situation with an open mind, eager to meet and be-friend people, I promise you that you will. And if you're feeling awkward, make fun of the whole process and the conversation starters on the table, because chances are the person across from you is feeling the same way.

But if that's not incentive enough, the event is free, and any donations that you want to make will go to Friends of Ladders, Inc., an organization that benefits people with autism. Feeling guilt-tripped, yet? I thought so, so check it out.
