This Sunday, April 29 at 9 am is one of URI's Student Alumni Associations biggest events. This event is Oozeball. If you don't know what Oozeball, you're missing out. Here are some details about this sick event:

Oozeball is one of the biggest and best events we have here at URI. It is a single elimination volleyball tournament played in up to a foot of mud. Teams of 6 players compete for the glory of being oozeball champions, all while getting dirty and having FUN! This year, there will be food venders so be sure to bring some extra money in case you get hungry. All players MUST be wearing closed toed shoes to participate in Oozeball. Plan ahead early and find a pair of old shoes to wear. Finally, this is an alcohol free event and URI's alcohol policies will be strictly enforced at Oozeball. Failure to attend the captain's meeting, wear closed toed shoes, or abide by the alcohol policy will result in forfeit." You can also go to here to learn more about oozeball.

Unfortunately, Oozeball is full, so no one else is able to sign up. This just shows how awesome of an event it really is. I have never played Oozeball before, but this year I am and I'm pumped. I hope everyone else is just as excited as I am. Let's get muddy!
