Last night, the University of Rhode Island Rams defeated the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks, 76-59. In doing so, the Rams improved to 20-13 overall, resulting in the 4th consecutive 20-win season for the team. It also marked the 90th win (over the last 4 years) for the team's senior class. This is the best senior-class performance in school history.
Individual honors went to senior forward Delroy James, who scored his first (collegiate career) triple-double. James ended the night with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists (also a career high). This was the first career-double in Rhode Island history.
