Every once in a while, a story comes along that forces you to spew your coffee all over your computer after you read it.  Something so vile, so twisted, so corrupt your brain can't even handle it.  Well today, I give you such a tale.

Fourteen-year-old Cassidy Goodson is charged with murder in the first-degree and aggravated child abuse after she strangled her newborn baby to death while it was still attached to her by the umbilical cord.  I will let that fact sink in for a moment.  A little more.  Okay, good?  Let's continue.  

Goodson gave birth to the baby boy in the bathroom of her home in Lakeland, FL on September 19th.  The description that follows is pretty gnarly, so if you're a little squeamish, I suggest you skip past it.  According to police, "the high school freshman ultimately used scissors to pry the baby out of  her body and into the toilet.  Lifting the baby out of the toilet, Goodson 'placed her hands on the infant's neck and squeezed until he wasn't moving or breathing any longer.'"  Yeah, that happened.

Her mother noticed a horrible odor emanating from her daughter's room.  Three days after, she called the police due to a terrible discovery: a dead baby in a shoebox.  And I thought the skeletons in my closet were bad.

Prosecutors have yet to decide whether or not Cassidy will be charged as an adult.  For now, Sheriff Grady Judd believes the young girl's age should taken into account.  Either way, this girl just embedded herself in national history as the worst mother (and person) of all-time.  She'd probably make one hell of a surgeon though.
