The story of self discovery and coming out is not a new one. But it is an important one and a continually evolving one. The U.S., and world, have taken a lot of steps forward in gay rights but there have been countless steps back.

One being the vote to potentially overturn Referendum 74 in Washington state. The referendum allows for same-sex marriage but with a vote in support of or against it coming up next month, November 6th, that right could be taken away. WHY? I've said this 17,000 times. People are people who love people. How does it hinder anyone elses love life if two people that love each other are the same sex? Like. Hello. What the eff is wrong wit chu?

For everyone out there fighting for marriage equality, I support you. So do Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and their homies. For those kids who are scared to talk about who they are or how they feel with their friends and family, don't be; "it's all the same love".
