Touch screen phones are awesome 75 percent of the year, but that last 25 percent can be a real pain in the ass.

That 25 percent of course being winter. 

If you have to text you need to let your freezing little fingers out of your gloves. But if it's just too damn cold out? Then your text, map, email, update or whatever is just going to have to wait. 

But what if I told you there was a solution? A ridiculous looking solution?

The left glove has a speaker and microphone sewn into the thumb and little finger, while the fingertips have a special thread so a touchscreen can be used.

Hi-Hat, the Italian firm responsible for the next most awkward thing to hit the streets, describes its gloves as, "The new sensational product for winter 2012. A pair of warm gloves, perfect for every sport, from skiing to running, with hi-Call you can control the touch screen of your smartphone thanks to the capacitive technology."

The gloves will set you back around $75. Would you wear them?
