Time to blast "Taps" from your dorm room or frat house, for today is a sad day.  Bros across the world, of every race and occupation, issued a resounding cry of defeat after it was announced that Blake Lively had married her beau, Ryan Reynolds, on Sunday in South Carolina.

As much as I'd like to pay futher homage to Blake and her lovely mammaries, bro code denies such actions.  Ryan is one of us and we should applaud his efforts and subsequent success in locking down the actress from Savages and The Town. And we should consider this a significant rebound for him after being romantically tied to Alanis Morissette (blegh) and engaged to Scarlett Johansson (you go Ryan).

Reportedly, the wedding party consisted mostly of family and friends and took place at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, SC.  Although no official statement has been released by either actor's reps, it seems clear that the Green Lantern duo has taken the dive into marriage.  We'll start an office pool of how long they'll last; my bet is 14 months.  Any takers?
