Hoodie Allen dropped a new single Monday! It will probably make you feel at least some love for him, or you may just fall completely in love. He's worth that type of commitment.
In most cases, I'm not really into videos that are just lyrics, but I like the use of images here against the black and gold text.
Hoodie hails from NYC and has been in the rap game for a few years now. Back in '09 he debuted with his album "Bagels & Beats" which earned him the Best Music on Campus Award from MTVU. That summer he worked on his mixtape Pep Rally which sampled artists like Death Cab for Cutie and Two Door Cinema Club. A couple years later in 2011 he released the album "Leap Year" and went on 15 city tour. This year he put out the album "All American" and has released the single "Hey Now" and "Feel The Love" just in time for the Hoodie Allen & G-Eazy's Excellent Adventure Tour. They will be coming to a city near you starting in the first week of September, which is right around the corner. That means, get your tickets sooner rather than later.

His lyrics are witty and his music provides the perfect amount of hip-hop beat to instrumental rifts. Great for a study session with the bros or a chill day drinking weekend. Of course it's also perfect to listen to really loud as you dance around. Basically, he's got it all going on.
Now that you're caught up on his career, go download it from his facebook page. Follow him on twitter too because he puts up the best twitpics and is always good for a laugh.
