SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
This has got to be the creepiest advertisement ever in the history of ice cream advertising. Little Baby's Ice Cream has opened the gates for weirdos that love ice cream everywhere. This ad has it all, a narrator with a deep petaphilic voice, a man-woman thing completely lathered in ice cream and no foreseeable relation to the product until the very end.
The only question this poses to me is; is creepy the new way to sell things? Like I understand that it is necessary to make commercials a little over the top so it sticks out to people, but seriously does creepy bring home the bacon? If so how do we feel about this as a country? Has America really come to the point where you need to have some Powder looking dude spooning ice cream off of his head and eating it unblinkingly to the sweet soothing voice of Joe Pedophile in order to sell ice cream? I know ADD is hindering the minds of American youths but this crap can not be helping much. It's probably not that good for the childhood obesity epidemic either. On the other hand this might do wonders to increase rentals for the 1995 film Powder.
