Mistakes are bound to happen during the Olympics, but you wouldn't expect them to be this big.
NBC made a massive and awkward mistake when they ran a promo for an exclusive interview on the Today Show with Missy Franklin after she won her gold metal in the 100m backstroke. The promo ran at approximately 9:43 EST.
That would be all well and good, except Franklin won the race at 9:50 EST.
Did NBC just alter the time space continuem?
