Fans of the ABC comedy “Modern Family” were pleased to hear that the show’s main stars signed new contracts over the weekend, ending a disheartening stalemate between the station and the actors.

Stars Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, and Ty Burrell were among the group of the actors hoping to reach a new deal.  The cast was displeased with their current contracts and asked a judge to rule them invalid. Although show producers insisted that the show would have pressed on, this news of reconciliation is surely comforting for “Family” fans. Below is a clip from last season.
