I was going to refrain from posting this until next week's Wednesday Movie Round Up, but it simply could not wait.  After doing some bit parts in films like Funny People and American Gangster, RZA has his own directorial debut set to release this fall.  I give you: The Man With The Iron Fists.

Fugg YES.  This movie is going to be awesome; over-the-top fighting, mythical weapons, RZA in 19th century China.  Russell Crowe making a nice supporting appearance? And with Eli Roth handling some production, you know there will be hilarious gore.  Honestly, Iron Fists looks like it could be the sleeper movie of 2012.  It won't win Oscars or Golden Globes, but it'll do it's job: entertain.  Especially if RZA and some other members of the Wu provide tracks for the film.  I would bug out if I got to watch people's faces be punched off with Meth or Ghostface playing in the back.  Set to premiere in the fall, keep your eye on The Man With The Iron Fists.
