During a 100 meter race, Georgi Kirilov of Bulgaria looks to be in a close race, in the second lane, with the other competitors, up until half way through the event when he slowly pulls up and eventually bends his leg in an extremely awkward way.

The accident resulted in Kirilov dislocating his knee and breaking his leg, which will certainly keep him out of track and field for a while.
