The owner of Sydney, Australia's Stiletto, "the world's finest short-stay boutique hotel and Sydney brothel", has won the appeal to double their business giving this story a happy ending.
The AFP reports that Stiletto has been trying to expand its business from 20 rooms to 40 to accommodate the high demands but were shut down late last year on grounds that the expansion was too big. However, the owners came up big in the Land and Environment Court this week, with Commissioner Susan O'Neill giving the green light on the Aus$12 million ($12.2 million) development.
"The issue of a moral objection to the nature of the activities of a sex premises were raised by some of the public submissions and resident objectors. As a sex premises is a legal land use and permissible ... with consent, moral objections to the proposal are not relevant considerations."
According to Stiletto's very sleek NSFW website, they are open 24/7 except for Christmas and boast a wide range of cliente. Stiletto sees many well to do clients ranging from sportspeople to movie stars and with a standard hourly rate of Aus$370 includes room, lady of choice and beverages I could see why...
Brothel's are legal in most parts to Australia, proving yet again that Australians have way more fun.
