Is Ryan crazy? How do other people view him when he is carrying on a full conversation with a dog in public? How does a dog manage to smoke so much weed without opposable thumbs?

Season 1 of FX's "Wilfred" captivated me from the start with its quirky darkness and wry humor. It had me laughing, (almost) crying, and questioning the meaning of life and friendship all at once. Ever since the cliffhanger-ridden season finale, I have been eagerly awaiting the return of my favorite dog-man dynamic duo.

Without giving away any spoilers for those of you who have not yet watched the first season (but should), it ended on a rather dark note. I am very curious to see how it picks up, and if the show goes down a more deperssing route or resumes with more dog-smoking-weed humor.
