How many of you keep saying that we need a playoff system in college football in order to see who actually is the best team in the country? Well I'm one of those people that think we need one.

Year after year, we have these smaller schools like Boise State, Iowa, TCU, and many more with undefeated seasons but the coaches and AP polls discredited them because they aren't a big major program. Several BCS commissioners met at O'Hare Airport the other day to possibly come to an agreement.

Right now they are looking at a possible four team playoff format, allowing the top four teams to go head-to-head in neutral locations to see who is the nation's champion.
According to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN, we may possibly have a deal soon. "The BCS commissioners and Notre Dame's athletic director say they made progress Wednesday on formulating college football's future postseason model, but emphasized the final decisions will come from school presidents who will consider multiple options".

These meetings consisted of commissioners from various college programs and are expected to meet again soon to discuss more options. If you are a college football fan; you got to be estatic right now. This definitely could increase the interest of college football. I really believe this is what is best for the fans, teams, and even commissioners.
