SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
They say the third time is a charm. Well, this is my third consecutive year to attend Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

To exclaim that "Bonnaroo changed my life" is just a tad bit cliche for my taste. On the contrary, it definitely altered my future. Since 2010 the ecstasy of my first festival experience has never really faded into just another memory. Fast forward two years and here I am writing festival precoverage for one of my publications, SUMOskinny.
Swiss novelist Max Frisch said, "Time does not change us. It unfolds us."
Manchester, Tennessee holds a whole new collage of bands, DJ's, and pop culture icons this year. In the festival's eleventh year of activity 'Roo has managed to book a powerhouse of headliner artists: the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead and Phish.
You can also expect to see the hipster chicks hula-hooping to Bon Iver, The Avett Brothers, The Shins, Foster the People, Skrillex, The Roots, Santigold, The Temper Trap, City and Colour, Young the Giant, Two Door Cinema Club, Fun., Blind Pilot, Big Gigantic, Mac Miller, The Kooks, Mimosa, The Joy Formidable and much, much more.
The 700 acre farm that 'Roo calls home is going to be more alive than ever this weekend June 7-10. Myself? I'm in route as we speak. Stay tuned over the weekend for coverage and maybe a few interviews with some of the artists.
