SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
With millionaire friends around all the time, DeShawn Stevenson has install an ATM in his kitchen so cash was never an issue.
According to TMZ:
Seems that Stevenson was inspired by skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, who had one installed during filming of his MTV reality show Rob and Big. According to TMZ, Stevenson shelled out $3,500 for the installation, charges a ridiculous $4.50 transaction fee, and refills it with $20,000 in cash a few times a year. Seems like a good move to install one in-house, especially if he's got wealthy NBA teammates stopping over on occasion before they go out for the night.
Honestly, this isn't that bad of a plan. Think about the friends that Stevenson hangs with. They are all big time NBA stars. Than think about how annoying it is to go to the ATM before you hit the clubs. It's a pain, so why not pay a little extra for convenience, and if that mean $4.50 per transaction so be it.
I tip my hat to you Stevenson, this was a good idea.
