2. Look out for number one. If you’re spending this summer away from that special someone, that means you get a whole lot of YOU time. Also maximize hang out time with friends you don’t get to see often.
3. You don’t have to fuss and worry about meeting someone like the rest of your single friends. Next time your at a bar watching all your pals throwing themselves at the opposite sex, sit back, relax, and enjoy the displays of desperation.
4. Use it as an excuse to visit somewhere new. It you live in Boston and they’re in New Jersey, head on down to the shore for a weekend and release your inner Snooki.
5. Go surprise them. There is nothing more gratifying than surprising someone with your simple presence. Plus, that old saying ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’ definitely applies here. Your long distance lover wont be able to keep their hands off of you.
