The folks at ADR Studio have come up with this insane concept: the Instagram Socialmatic Camera.  Utilizing the app's icon, they designed a digital camera capable of printing physical photos immediately after they're captured.  Now, you can take Instagram along for the ride without the need of your phone!

The concept design includes a lot of awesome features: built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, 16GB of storage, LED flash, internal printer, and InstaOs 1.0, which allows the app to connect with Facebook.  There's also a 4:3 touchscreen, allowing you to tweak and upload your photos right after you take them, just like the iPhone app does.

A clever idea, but would it be successful?  The app is already free on both Droid and iPhones, however there could definitely be a market for the easily portable camera.  While digital cameras permit a lot of internal storage, the Socialmatic Camera would introduce the convenience of printing and uploading photos on the spot, rather than waiting till you get home.  Also, you can always count on fads and trends to skyrocket sales for this kind of a product.
