As impossible as it sounds, researchers in Israel have found that eating dessert for breakfast may help dieters reach their weight loss goals. Do you know what that means!? Both your mother and your doctor have lied to you: this is science, so it's obviously legitimate.
In their study, 114 obese individuals were fed about 1,500 calories daily for several weeks. They were seperated into two groups. Their diets were identical, except that one group had dessert (cookies, chocoalte, cake, or ice cream) for breakfast.

During the study's initial duration, the average weight loss in both groups was nearly the same. But, in a follow-up study, those on the dessert diet lost an additional 13 pounds on average; while the others who were dieting reguarly gained back the weight they had initially lost.
I mean, this makes sense. Chocolate makes you happy. Happy people are generally skinner. So, chocolate = skinny. Why did it take us this long to figure this out?
