After several release date changes, the day is finally here all you Nicki Minaj fanatics!
That’s right, the release of Minaj’s second album “Pink Friday…Roman Reloaded” is finally here. This album displays the artist’s raw hip-hop side as well as her mainstream pop side. Hearing some of the leaked tracks has fans all over the world anxious to hear her new album. As of the night before release, “Roman Reloaded” was already ranked seventh for pre-sale on iTunes.

Lately, Nicki has been releasing more pop and dance tracks, so for those looking for her “bad bitch” side, you won’t be disappointed with the first half of the album.
The Queen Barb herself has several tracks featuring big name rappers like Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake and 2 Chainz. Here, she shows she can hang with the guys and show them what’s up when it comes to slick verses.
My favorite song is “Roman Reloaded” ft. Lil Wayne.
Here she shows off her cocky and witty personality, which is what most people expect to hear from her. One verse says, “Give that sh-t to a wash up, bitch I’m winning / If I had a label I would never sign you hoes / Take you bitches to school than I Columbine you hoes / I hear the slick sh-t, bitch you washed / All you hoes cryin’: Christopher Bosh”. With several tracks on the album that are similar to this, I think it will please those who weren’t exactly happy with her Grammy performance back in February.
The second half of the album is COMPLETELY different. She segways from hip-hop Nicki to pop Nicki with her track “Right By My Side” that features Chris Brown. This song is has literally been stuck in my head for a week now (had to listen to the leaked version) and I must say, it’s a pretty catchy tune. It shows off her vulnerable side, which we rarely see from her. Remember that Chris Brown and Jordan Sparks song “No Air”? Well, it’s a lot similar too this, but Minaj does add a sassy rap verse in there, which in my opinion, makes the song. Other then that, there are a few tracks that sound a lot like “Starships” with their “let’s party and dance” sound.
So whether you are a Nicki Minaj fan or not, I suggest you check her new album out. No doubt she has been working hard to create a variety of songs for different genres of music and she has accomplished that. If you want the big attitude, sassy bitch Nicki, you’ll find it here. If you are interested in dance music to blast at the pool this summer, she brought that as well. Regardless, something is bound to appeal to everyone in this album. So go get “Pink Friday…Roman Reloaded” night now! Or, (in the words of Nicki Minaj) you’re a stupid hoe!
Shut it barf bag....
