While we are still coming off the high from our road trip this weekend with GrooveBoston, we figured it would be a good week to discuss how to plan a road trip. It’s every bro's dream to have a kickass road trip with his fellow bros. But there are certain ways you need to go about a road trip to make it worth your while.

PICK YOUR DESTINATION: This is the most obvious part of a road trip but people still find a way to screw it up. When deciding where you want to go, make sure you are going to actually have a good time where you end up. You don’t want to go Lincoln, Nebraska and expect to soak up the sun with some babes on the beach. It's important to do some research on your destination and make sure it’s worth your time.

PICK YOUR DRIVERS/CO-PILOTS: Let's face it, we all have those friends that either suck at driving or those friends that can still have a GPS in front of them and get lost.

RELIABLE CAR:  Unless you want to end up on the side of road with the potential of never making it home alive then you may want to take some time and get a good car.  If that means renting a car, I’m sure Enterprise will hook you up.  It may cost a little more but it's for the best.

MONEY:  Ya, we know this is again a fairly obvious aspect of any trip but again there are those friends that never bring enough money and it will be hard enough for you to afford the trip for yourself never mind another friend. Plus if an unexpected cost comes up, it is nice to know you have enough money to get you by.

PICK YOUR “ROADMATIES”: You don’t want to get stuck on the road for a week with somebody you can’t stand to be around. Its one thing to be around that person but it is another thing to be in a close area like a car. You want to go with people that you know you will have fun with.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE ROAD TRIP STAYS ON THE ROAD TRIP: Pretty self-explanatory we think. Basically everyone goes on vacations to relax and try/do things they may not
