According to multiple sources a 7.6 magnitude earthquake has hit Mexico's Guerrero region.
The quake happened around 2:15 pm today causing buildings to sway in the capital, Mexico City. According to CNN the quake struck in the Guerrero region, with its epicenter about 92 miles west of Oaxaca and about 120 miles east of Acapulco.
It's still unclear the extend of the damage or if there are any injuries at this time but Mexico City Mayor Marcelo Ebrard is evacuating several of the larger buildings just to be safe.
