Ubisoft's highly successful Assassin's Creed series has been a massive hit since the original game was released in 2007.  Since then, it has been followed by three main games: Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations.  Now, with a major announcement from the Montreal-based publishers due Monday, an image has leaked that may be a huge reveal for the upcoming release, Assassin's Creed III.  Check it out:

Only a few details about the game itself have leaked: Ubisoft says the game will be much bigger than previous installments; it will take place in America, following an assassin during the Revolution; lastly, the character will have Native American influences.

Thank you Ubisoft because I can see this game being way better than Revelations.  The AC games have always been pretty fun, but the formula can get pretty old, pretty fast.  I've found grabbing guards and throwing them off roofs then running away, cackling and screaming "You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man motherfucker!" makes it a lot more entertaining.  Set to release on October 30, 2012, I will keep you informed of any more details that are unveiled as time goes on.
