SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
You may call it Techno but EDM (Electronic Dance Music) encompasses a broad range of sub genres that you might want look into.
I compiled a list of some of the more popular sub genres so hopefully next time when you hear an electronic song you don't just blurt our "Oh, Techno!"
ENJOY!

Important Note before listening: Most EDM tacks last 6-7 mins. This is because EMD tracks are made for DJ's to mix with. The beginnings (and endings) of tracks may sound boring but give them a chance, skip about a min into the song if you want to start hearing the good stuff.
Breaks: Non-quantized back beats with heavy synth use. This is a lesser known genre that is sometimes mistaken for Electrica and may have dubstep breakdowns in each track.
