OK Go is one band that hasn't completely altered their sound over the past decade. From my middle school days with Cinnamon Lips to the track they had on The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack, Shooting The Moon, these guys have remained totally freakin awesome.

The video for the track Needing/Getting from their 2010 album, Of the Blue Colour of the Sky, has become a hit after being part of Chevy's newest ad campaign. It also successfully got my attention, even though it's about vehicles (which I dislike), so props to the guys in charge of advertising.

THIS IS SO COOL! How can someone, even a whole group of people, come up with the sounds and equipment and technique to nail this? I wonder how many takes it took. At the end you can hear some banter between the guys about how they "got it". Oh boy did you get it.

United Kingdom, you have a way of getting under my skin with your mouthwatering accents and quirky little bands. Keep 'em coming! Please and thanks.
