Are you on birth control? Yea? Well turns out those magical little pills could have gotten you pregnant. F'REAL.
Pfizer, the company behind this insane mixup, just recalled 1 million birth control packs. How comforting!! Pfizer really effed up and now chicks all over the world are probably peeing on sticks in hopes that they're not 'bout to pop out a kid in the near future. I bet E.P.T and Clearblue are going to have a profitable few days ahead of them.
But real talk...if you take Lo/Ovral-28 or any generic form of this particular pill you should check this list ASAP to see if you're affected. Here's what happened: Pfizer made some terrible mistakes with the dosages in some of their birth control packs so pills that are supposed to be keeping you a baby-bump-free woman could be doing just the opposite.
To all my ladies poppin' pills, don't freak out (like I did when I heard the news) just yet. Make sure to look at the lot number and expiration date on your pack because only pills that expire between July 31, 2013 and March 31, 2014 are affected. Now go check the list so you can stop flippin' a sh*t.
