Who quickly comes to mind on Sports Center when NFL analysts are discussing the best quarterbacks to ever step on a NFL Field?
Well generally, Troy Aikman, Joe Montana, Dan Marino, John Elway, and Steve Young typically come to mind. All of these players brought a different element to the game. Whether it was John Elway running for a game winning 40 yard touchdown or Troy Aikman throwing a 60 yard touchdown to Michael Irvin. All these players also had numerous Super Bowl rings and great teams around them.
Well what's special about Tom Brady? He is only 34 years old, has three super bowl rings, two Super Bowl MVP awards, and some say he is playing the best football of his career right now. But more importantly than the statistics, Tom Brady has turned average players into Pro Bowlers including Wes Welker, Rob Gronokowski, and Deion Branch.

Brady has elevated these players to a tremendously high level. Welker is arguably known as one of the best slot receivers in the game today. Gronokowski is now in the records with the most touchdowns in a season by a tight end. Who deserves the credit for this? Yes you do have to give Bill Belichick and management credit for drafting these players but Brady has truly brought the best out of his teammates.
Brady has the leadership, poise, confidence, control at the line of scrimmage, accuracy, and most importantly the intangibles. I think it is fair to put Brady in the discussion with those other all time best quarterbacks because he doesn't only have the statistics, but overall qualities that a quarterback has to possess to be great NFL player like he has become.
