Sunday night's Giants - Patriots game felt all too familiar. Seemingly a game played from my memories of the 2008 title game, the Giants squeaked out yet another late game win to bring down Tom Brady's long running home win record. The shocking 24-20 Giants win on the road ended a 20 home-game winning streak for the Patriots.

With a five-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Hernandez in the third-quarter there was a look of determination in Brady's eyes. He was not going down without a fight. The Hernandez touchdown tied the game at 10 a piece and put some fight back into the Patriots.
With some big yard gains and completed passes the Patriots re-took the lead 20-17 with under two minutes to play. However, there was too much time on the clock. Manning, with some luck from defensive penalties put seven on the board with 15 seconds left in regulation.
The Patriots have now suffered big back-to-back loses and are tied with the NY Jets for the top seat in their division. Ironically they will face the Jets next week on the road. This is a must win situation to boost the moral and take a firm lead on the number one spot.
