Tuesday is a great night in New Orleans for thrifty spenders looking for great food or drink deals. Seeing that it’s Monday, I would start looking forward to tomorrow.

Tuesdays are “Taco Tuesdays” at the Rum House, located at 3128 Magazine Street. True to local inventiveness on Magazine Street, the Caribbean taqueria offers an eclectic array of fourteen tacos that range from brisket to chilli-glazed shrimp. On Tuesdays all taco's are $2 except for the mole pork, seared scallop, duck duck goose and lamb vindaloo, which are each $3. All beers are also a whopping $2 and the margaritas are $4 until 6:30 PM.  Make it an early night- I am sure you won’t regret it.
