Weekend Jump-Off
Please put down the work, it’s Thursday, and it’s restaurant week and Burlesque fest. This is a great time to explore the city beyond just the Boot and Maple St. Not that I’m discouraging happy hour or anything. LSU v. Miss State Party at The Republic, 7 pm. Features drink specials during the game including free shots if LSU scores. Worth going to even if you’re not the biggest football fan.

Saturday, September 17
Pretty Lights at The Sugar Mill, 9 pm. Not that I have to really twist anyone’s arm to go to Pretty Lights, but the Sugar Mill is an incredible venue. Dubstep mania will ensue for certain.
Sunday, September 18
Last Day of Restaurant Week in NOLA. Awesome specials at great restaurants, don’t miss this.
