UMass is getting all kinds of environmentally friendly Thursday! On the library lawn you can find two events trying to get you green.

From 9am-3pm join the Eco Reps in their annual Trash Sort. They'll be taking apart campus trash to find out how much of that garbage could have actually been recycled. Talk about getting green, I'm sure there will be plenty of mold in that mix.

Then from 11am-3pm get a little earthy and celebrate Earth Day with UMass! Music from local peeps, food from Earth Foods and People's Market (YAY), prizes (like oh just a bike), and tie dye for free! You can also start off your spring/summer wardrobe with a clothing swap and begin emptying your dorm rom with the electronics recycling station!

TIP: as it will be on the library lawn and it is spring, meaning the ducks/geese are back in all their disgusting glory, watch out because the venue doubles as a toilet for the wildlife.
