SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
SumoSkinny loves music, and we know that you do too—especially the band Nihility, judging by your comments on our past features (http://www.sumoskinny.com/node/859, http://www.sumoskinny.com/node/534, and http://www.sumoskinny.com/node/252).
All you loyal Sumos know the band I’m talking about—rock-ish and featuring college guys located in Massachusetts, Nihility has played in and around Boston a bunch of times, and we’ve followed them a lot. This band is playing again at The Middle East in Cambridge (right next to Sumo’s office!) on Saturday, April 23. If you’re around Boston for Easter weekend and want to do something fun before noshing on chocolate eggs all day Sunday, check out their music at this venue.
The Middle East is selling Nihility tickets for $12 if you buy in advance from a band member or $15 at the door—pretty cheap for some pretty great music. Nihility’s style is awesome and I’m not going to compare them to anyone because they have some pretty great original songs (personal favorite: “Guy Like Me.” Check it out at one of the links below.). But aside from the music, Nihility rocks every venue they perform at—from Hennessey’s Hooley House to Ground Zero to Church, Nihility’s had some cool gigs and some enthusiastic crowds. You’ll definitely feel the energy when these guys play.
