SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
Boulder's sister city is Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. If you can't tell, the place just oozes hippy. The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is a one of a kind piece of art in building form. The hand painted and carved ceiling, plaster carved walls, carved columns, and ceramic panels all add to its rich history and culture. Originally Boulder's Tea House was actually located in Dushanbe. Each tile, column, and piece of this teahouse was taken apart and individually shipped to Boulder where it was put back together. (Hell of a jigsaw puzzle, eh?)

The Tea House is not only a beautiful sight to see, it also serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea. (They also have a wine list, don’t worry) Their food is fantastic and the mood inside the House is as mellow as it gets. Definitely one of the most relaxing meals I have ever had in my life.
