The Fall Staple In Burlington: BOOTS

Okay ladies, we've just hit the perfect weather that signifies the best season of all: Boot season. Boots are the staple item in New England year round, but especially in the fall. So how do you rock your boots this year? Trick question, they go with everything! Tall boots, short boots, heel, no heel, slouchy, straight, leather, suede, brown, black, tan, you can't go wrong! Wear em with dresses, skirts, jeans, leggings, tights, go wild!

Now, here's the problem. What if you don't have boots? Sure, there are tons of great ones out there, but if you're picky like me you're probably panicking to get your hands on some that fit your style before it becomes... DUN DUN DUN... Ugg season.

Well ladies, if you live in Burlington, you're in luck! You don't have to look any further than good 'ol trusty Church Street.

First place I'd look is Stella. That's where I just found my adorable pair of Chelsea Crew boots:

What's great about this store is that they have all different price ranges. These boots were $65, but they have a wide selection including Frye, which can range from $130-$375. Don't miss out on this store while they've got all the good stuff because they sell out fast.

The next place I'd check is The Shoe Shop. This place is a little more expensive, but they have cute, durable shoes that will last you and they often have store-wide sales of up to 30% off. In fact, if you're looking to go in when they have a sale, check out their Facebook page. This also brings up an important tip about Burlington. If you find a place you love, Like them on Facebook. They often do giveaways and keep you up to date on sales and events.

Now I know this is going to sound very un-Burlington of me, but the next place I'd try, especially if you're just looking for a pair of boots to last you one season, is Charlotte Russe. This store can be hit or miss, but when you're in a pinch for money and you want something that follows the trends, Charlotte Russe usually pulls through. If you don't believe me, take a look at their website. You can't argue with those prices and even if they're trashed by next fall, who cares? You'll want a new style anyway.

One last great place is Ecco. They don't always have a huge selection, but they have variety in style and in price. They often carry Steve Madden shoes, which range from $60-$150. The rest of Ecco is a bit pricy, but head straight to the back right and you'll find a variety of boots for fall that won't break the bank.

If you can't find anything you like after looking up and down Church street, you're being too picky. They have all the styles that a girl could want and they have all the perfect boots to get us through the beautiful VT fall. Now go frolick and pick some apples in your cute, new boots.
