Looking for a new place to grab a drink and some grub in Boston? Look no further. Big Night Entertainment Group (BNEG) has outdone themselves yet again with their latest installment, Empire.

Some of you might know of BNEG because they brought Estate, Red Lantern, and Gem to Boston, which has taken the nightlife scene by storm. So, you can imagine my excitement when Empire opened their doors earlier this summer; bringing a little bit of SoHo to the Seaport.
Bigger is better was certainly their motto with Empire, and they don’t disappoint. 650 people can be accommodated in this massive restaurant located at Fan Pier, and 14,000 square feet make it the largest Asian restaurant in Boston.
The space itself is expertly decorated and creates a perfect ambiance for any kind of occasion. The bar and lounge area act as a perfect place for an after work drink, or even as final your destination for a Friday or Saturday night. So what’s the first thing you do when you go into a place like this? Aside from scoping out all of the beautiful people, order a drink, obviously.
Get things started off on the right foot with an Emperor’s Mule or the Black Widow. Looking for beers on draft? Don’t worry they’ve got Sapporo and Stella, amongst others, ready to pour. If you are out with a group of friends, you can indulge in a Crouching Tiger or Hidden Dragon which are their signature oversized drinks (serves four).
If you’re looking for something to snack on or even some dinner, definitely try the Tempura Rock Shrimp Roll, Wonton Soup, or my personal favorite, the Long Cooked Beef Pho. Tips: Like any good place, be prepared to wait in line Thursday-Saturday nights. Empire has a strict dress code as well, so come looking your best.
