For instant good karma and about a million other reasons, it would benefit anyone (and everyone) in the Boston Area visit the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
Recently, I paid them a visit to go play with some animals, and wound up driving home with a loving new pet named Miley, a 4 year old pit-bull boxer mix.

The Animal Rescue League has animals of all kinds including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other small animals such as hamsters. All of which are waiting for loving homes.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and extremely willing to help anyone who is looking to adopt a pet. Not only is adopting a pet a great thing to do for animals in need, but it provides you with non-stop love and entertainment.
