SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
Boston, once named the worst dressed city in the nation by GQ, is fighting it’s way back onto the fashion scene, Mark Wahlberg style. Jeff Lahens, the creator of DressCode Boston, and the InterContinental, will be hosting a must-attend event tomorrow, April 19th. The event will be featuring the Spring and Summer 2012 collection of the most envied retailers in the Boston area. Unlike your run-of-the-mill fashion show, guests will be able to purchase pieces they can’t live without, right on the spot. DressCode Boston will also be partnering with @BostonTweetUp, which gives the audience the opportunity to participate live via Twitter and other social media platforms
Last Fall, Jeff Lahens introduced JL Men’s collection under the TENT at Boston Fashion Week, and experienced success in the Boston fashion world. He curated the show via DressCode Boston, which can best be described as a cross-channel consumer engagement platform for brands and retailers. The vision for this event is to bring together those notable retailers, advertisers and the editorial community under one roof for an amazing menswear promotion. It will attract Boston’s best style bloggers, prominent fashion professionals and beloved local celebrities. This event is a unique opportunity for Boston’s growing fashion community to network with creative professionals and enjoy an outstanding menswear show.
