SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
Boston is deeply routed with traditions. One of the greatest traditions in Boston is catching a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. The Sox are celebrating their 100th season this year and to honor them Boston is going nuts. One company joining the festivites is Hubway as they giveaway 100 passes to celebrate the occasion.

Hubway might not be a tradition (yet) in Boston but they are quickly becoming a staple for Bostonians.
If you’ve spent any time in the city since July of last year, then you’ve definitely noticed at least one of the 60 Hubway bike stations cropping up around Boston. With just over 600 bikes now, Hubway has plans to expand to Cambridge, Brookline, and Somerville this summer and could bring the fleet closer to 850 bikes.
How does it work? Hubway is a membership based bike sharing service. With your membership, you receive a key that unlocks a bike at any of the 60 stations, 24/7, three seasons throughout the year. The long-term membership fee is $85 for one year, and allows for 30-minute rides. If you’re not one to commit, then you can opt for a short-term cycling membership, either three days ($12 membership) or 24 hours ($5 membership).
Once you’ve received your key, slide it into a dock with an available bicycle. Commitment-fobes who are only riding for three days or 24 hours your credit card will act as your key for each ride. After you get the green light, you’re ready to ride. And don’t forget, safety first.
When your cycling adventures are over, dock the bike in any open dock anywhere in the city and you’re all set.

To view a map of the current Hubway stations, and check out where planned stations are going to appear, visit www.thehubway.com/stations and follow them on Twitter @hubway.
Hubway wants to honor the Red Sox and their 100th season by giving away 100 24-hour passes. Standard usage fees still apply after the first 30-minutes. That's right, you can take unlimted 30-minute rides within 24 hours, all for zero dollars. Simply enter your information below to be entered into the drawing.
*The 100 winners will be selected and announced at noon on May 1st.
