If there is any group of people that is strongly associated with San Francisco, it’s the gays. This weekend, on June 23rd an 24th, the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) pride celebration will sweep the city in a huge event that includes a huge parade, tons of live entertainment and many stages featuring music and DJs. This 42nd Annual Celebration and Parade is themed “Global Equality,” and the event has been called “the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation.” If you’re in the bay area, you can’t stand to miss this event.
