UMass Basketball Gets A Little Deeper, Derrick Gordon Joins Team
The UMass Men's Basketball team, who made it to the NIT semi-finals last season, only seem to be getting better during the off-season. Derrick Gordon, a freshman who previously played basketball at Western Kentucky University, will join the Minutemen next season. However, due to NCAA rules, Gordon will have to spend the 2012-13 season on the bench. Not to worry though, this star guard will have another three seasons in the Mullins Center.
Gordon averaged 11.8 points and 6.7 rebounds last year and will be a great addition to the team.
