Word around UMass for this weekend is that police are cracking down…and I mean cracking down hard. They have already cancelled buses to the Puffton Village and Hobart area this weekend and now rumor has it, will be issuing sobriety test at checkpoints on Rt 9 and on North Pleasant near Marks Meadow tonight. I would seriously suggest getting a DD or spending the night.

So if you or your friends find yourselves saying, “But I don’t want to sleep on the couch!” Well let me tell you that that couch is probably a lot more confortable than the jail cell you will be spending the night in. You have been warned.
