The first step is admitting you have a problem, so here it goes: I am addicted to GoBerry. I even have a frequent buyer card. However, I am not in the least bit embarrassed, nor am I looking for a remedy for this addiction.

GoBerry currently has two locations, one in Northampton and one in Amherst. The Amherst location just opened last summer and word of its incredibleness has been spreading fast. The frozen yogurt shop is located on Amity Street in the Amherst Cinema Building, a few doors down from Amherst Coffee.

Alex and Molly Feinstein locally own the company and both share the philosophy of providing customers with fresh, healthy, delicious frozen yogurt.

How is it fresh? GoBerry has partnered with local farms and organizations like Side Hill Farm, Mapleline Farm, the Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture and Grow Food Northampton ensuring that the fro-yo is made with the freshest ingredients.

Why is it healthy? First of all, the frozen yogurt is produced with dairy free of antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones. The livestock providing the dairy are fed with all organic feed and disease is prevented with natural methods such as clean housing, rotational grazing, and a healthy diet. These animals also have access to the outdoors, while non-organic dairy livestock may not have access to the outdoors. In addition to being organic, the delicious treat is only 25 calories per serving. That's right, 25 calories. That means you don't have to restrain yourself and go for the kiddie size, get a medium and enjoy!

How delicious is it? There is nothing better than a little fro-yo. GoBerry gives you three flavors to choose from each day, original and two others. Now, what sets GoBerry apart from other ice cream shops is the wide assortment of toppings available. Customers can select from a variety of fruits, candies and cereals. Then, after your fro-yo and toppings are in your cup, you are in charge of topping your frosty treat with honey or chocolate sauce. All of the toppings at GoBerry are as fresh as they can be—which means options are always changing with the seasons.
